Privacy Policy

The short version: Sharpn stores the workout and body-tracking data you enter so it syncs across your devices. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your health information for advertising. You can export or permanently delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

Sharpn (“Sharpn”, “we”, “us”) is a workout and body-tracking mobile application operated by Waleed Alahdal, an individual developer (the “data controller”). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@sharpn.fit.

This policy explains what data Sharpn collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Sharpn mobile app and this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what’s needed to run the app and sync your training. This is overwhelmingly data you choose to enter.

If you turn it on and grant permission, Sharpn can read body data (such as weight and body composition) from Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS or Health Connect on Android, to save you from re-entering it. This access is entirely opt-in and can be revoked at any time in your device settings. See Section 3.

We process this data to perform the service you’ve asked for and, where applicable, on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw).

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated personal and fitness data is permanently removed from our systems (backups are purged on a rolling basis). You can also delete individual entries in the app at any time.

9. Your rights & choices

To delete your account and all data, use Profile → Delete account in the app, or email support@sharpn.fit from your account email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

10. Children

Sharpn is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

Sharpn is operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and uses cloud providers that may process data in other countries. By using the app, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in locations with different data-protection laws than your own.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a notice in the app or by email.
